Before you pack it
- Wash and fully dry everything first — sweat and damp are what actually cause mildew.
- Do not compress down jackets flat; loosely packed keeps the filling even.
- Add a couple of desiccant sachets. The hub also runs dehumidifiers continuously from March to September.
- Take clothes out of dry-cleaning plastic — sealed bags yellow fabric faster, not slower.
Early October and late March are the two busy fortnights. Book a slot a few days ahead.
